NCPeds anticipates receiving a grant from AAP for a QI project relating to improving HPV completion at the practice level. Together with the Virginia AAP Chapter, we will hire a consultant to help 3-5 practices in each state with the QI work. QI projects tend to be more successful when a team approach is used. The project will likely involve one in-person meeting, ideally with at least 2 key team members from each practice and then meetings will be via conference line. After the in-person meeting, the project is expected to last a minimum of 3 months. There will be a minimum of 10 chart pulls per month and practices will need to use QIDA for data analysis. Training on QIDA will be provided for those who need it.
